| I want to create visual language in order to communicate emotional experience
that transcends cultural knowledge and spoken language. Each work is based on
meaningful records of my experience. I use hair, photos, tape and collage as
elements of documentation to create imaginary space in which to capture emotion
and move between the past and the present.
