Spring 2008 Call for Entries!

Smarts Gallery and NY Smarts are looking for talented international artists and designers to show their work on our on-line gallery. We're looking for compelling entries in all areas of fine art, graphic design, illustration, interior design and fashion. Selected artists will have their work shown on the Smarts Gallery website. Some will also be invited to show their work in our physical gallery, will get professional help in writing their Artist Statements, and will have their work reviewed by experts.

To Apply

Please send:

• Images of up to fifteen pieces (please contact us if you want to submit work that incorporates audio, video or viewer-interaction).
• Name
• Address - note that only artists residing in the New York area will be considered.
• Email address
• Phone number
• Nationality
• Short bio (you don't need to make it perfect — we understand that English may not be your first language).
• Résumé (you don't need to make it perfect).
• Information about the artwork (including media, creation date and dimensions).
• How you heard about us.

• By Mail: If you are mailing your entry, please note that we cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged artwork, and will only be able to return submissions if a return envelope and return postage are provided. Please send your work to:

Deadline & Selection

Entries must be received by March 31, 2008. Winning entries will be selected by a panel of reviewers. INCOMPLETE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
